This painting is one in a series works inspired by woodlands that back on to my home. I am inspired by the energy spiritual connection I feel with nature in the character of the trees, the forest floor, and light. In this painting, I depict an avenue of multi colored trees that leads the eye towards a thin single illuminated tree which stands in the center of the path and connects upwards to the sky.
