There is a deliberate romantic approach to this work, inspired by the art of the 19th century English painter, Samuel Palmer. The morning light breaks through in my neighbors rear garden creating a warm illuminating glow. Our properties are separated by a stand of trees and shadowy undergrowth that forms a frame around the contrasting bright colors seen in Ted's garden.
